COMMISSIONING DAY INFORMATION and FOUL WEATHER PLAN

At this time, there is no extremely foul weather predicted.

The event is scheduled to occur as planned.

As a reminder, gate entrances for all guests are as follows:

Red and Gold ticket holders are requested to enter the base using Gate 2 located at the north end of Hampton Blvd.

Blue, white, green or purple ticket holder, base access will be via gate 4 located off of Bay Avenue and gate 3A, just off of Interstate 564 west. Please refer to the map included with your tickets for specific directions.

Due to the size and security concerns at this event, metal detectors, bag inspections and military working dogs will be used to ensure the safety of our guests.  Please ensure you have a photo ID and your applicable ticket available at all times. Pier access will not be granted without these.  All guests are asked to not bring bags or coolers.  However, small diaper bags and purses will be allowed.  Additionally, video cameras are not authorized in the vicinity of the pier or aboard the ship. However, still cameras are welcomed for use during the ceremony and while aboard the ship.

This is a non-smoking event, please plan accordingly.
